Do You Have This Voice In Your Head Too?

I was recently at Aimée Welch Taylor’s (the charming bride of World Renowned Wildlife Photographer Alan Taylor) birthday party when I was asked by one of her guests, “How do you see the photo before you take it?”

I thought about that for a minute, and minus composition and a bit of scouting locations, I answered, “God leads me to them.” Every wildlife or landscape moment that I capture is because of Him.

I would love to tell you that it was all me. But the reality is that it is God who gave me the talent and guided me to the right location at the exact right time. Without Him, there wouldn’t be images like the one above entitled, “Thy Will Be Done.”

He is also the one who gives me the title of each print, minus a few my friends have named.

Speaking of God, He is also the one who asked me to donate all the profits from my art sales to the victims of Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina.

So when you purchase a print from me through October of 2025, all the profits will go to local Western North Carolina charities that are helping the victims of Hurricane Helene recover. If you can, please continue to help support my friends and neighbors as we recover.
